RCD Espanyol launches an innovative technological project to unify the Club’s digital platforms and strengthen the relationship with its fans
RCD Espanyol de Barcelona has implemented a Single Sign On project to enhance the digital experience of its supporters, simplify digital processes and bring together all the Club’s platforms. From today, users who register with Perico ID will be able to access the app, website, Espanyol Media OTT, online store, as well as tickets, tours and experiences with a single account. Fast, simple and secure.
This new omnichannel system provides a single login across the different digital assets of the Club, making it easier for fans to access the RCD Espanyol ecosystem. Users who already had an account created in the app, online store, or ticketing must register again. If they use the same email address as before, their order history will be preserved.
Perico ID will allow us to better understand our followers, optimize precise and automated marketing campaigns, and boost engagement and fan relations. In addition, it will enable stronger data connections between the Club’s main business units, driving cross-selling, loyalty and personalization.
This innovative initiative represents a qualitative leap in the Club’s technological infrastructure, consolidating and guaranteeing the growth of new digital products within the football industry.
