FIFA delegation visit RCDE Stadium
The representatives are welcomed at the World Cup venue
The RCDE Stadium received a visit from a FIFA delegation this Monday. The home of RCD Espanyol is one of the venues selected for the 2030 World Cup.
The FIFA delegation was accompanied by representatives from the Royal Spanish Football Federation, the Moroccan Football Federation, the Catalan Football Federation, the city councils of Cornellà de Llobregat, El Prat de Llobregat, and Barcelona, and the Catalan Government.
The 2030 World Cup will be held in Spain, Portugal, and Morocco, along with Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay, in the year that marks the centenary of the first World Cup tournament in 1930. The FIFA delegation have visits to Portugal and Morocco scheduled in the coming days.
