RCD Espanyol to hold football campuses in the Czech Republic this summer
RCD Espanyol de Barcelona will continue sharing the Espanyol Way this summer 2026 with the organisation of new football campuses in the Czech Republic
For the first time, the Club will bring its training methodology to this new country, offering young players the opportunity to experience the same football identity, values and training approach that define La21, the RCD Espanyol Academy.
The campus will be developed and carried out together with a local partner, ensuring a strong connection with the football community in the Czech Republic while maintaining the training standards and methodology of RCD Espanyol.
Coaches from the RCD Espanyol youth academy in Barcelona will travel to the Czech Republic to lead the sessions and share the Club's know-how with local players and coaches. The campuses will combine technical training, tactical understanding and the educational values that are part of the RCD Espanyol formative model.
The programme will take place in two different locations:
Domažlice
June 15th – June 19th - Domažlice TJ Jiskra partner club
Prague
June 22th – June 26st - SK Horní Měcholupy partner club/ UK Prague 15 location
June 29th – July 3rd - Pražačka location
This new project represents another step in the Club's international growth and reinforces RCD Espanyol's commitment to sharing its football methodology around the world. Through its Football Programmes, the Club aims to offer participants a unique experience connected to the identity, passion, methodology and values of RCD Espanyol.
The Czech Republic now joins the list of countries where RCD Espanyol continues to build bridges through football, bringing Barcelona's football expertise closer to young talents and football communities abroad.
