Polish Football Federation visit RCD Espanyol
The federation learn more about the club's youth football models
RCD Espanyol de Barcelona last week hosted an official visit from the Polish Football Federation, who undertook an intensive training program in Barcelona to gain in-depth knowledge of the RCDE methodology, the club's working model, and the structure of the system.
This is the second time in recent seasons that the Polish Federation have chosen RCD Espanyol for their visit, reinforcing the quality of the club's development model and demonstrating the useful nature of previous experiences.
For three days, the Polish coaches participated in theoretical sessions, methodological analysis at the RCDE Stadium, and direct observation of training sessions at the Ciudad Deportiva Dani Jarque, where they were able to watch the daily operations of RCD Espanyol's La21 teams.
The visit began at the RCDE Stadium with a tour of the facilities and several working sessions focused on methodology, applied football psychology, and process analysis. It continued at the Ciudad Deportiva with further specialised sessions and guided observation of training sessions for the Under-18s and Under-13s, accompanied by the RCDE technical staff.
The program concluded with an Integrated Methodological Work session with the Under-18s, which allowed participants to see how the La21 principles are applied in daily practice.
The Polish Football Federation praised the quality of the program, the clarity of the RCDE model, and the value of gaining access to the day-to-day operations of the club's academy. For RCD Espanyol, this visit shows the club’s international standing and consolidates its methodology as a recognised benchmark for organisations and federations seeking solid, coherent, and scalable youth football development models.
