Under-19s beat Sant Cugat 1-3 on the road
The team pick up all three points
The Juvenil A Under-19s team earned three well-deserved points in their latest league game.
The first half showed clear dominance from the home side. They controlled the game and created two good chances that could have seen them go ahead, but lacked precision in the final third to convert their superiority into a lead.
After the break, RCD Espanyol stepped up their game. They came out strong and within minutes produced two almost identical moves, reaching the byline and delivering crosses into the six-yard box. First, Antonio set up Eloi Tost, who simply had to tap the ball in for the opening goal. Shortly after, Antonio and Rivas combined in a similar move to allow Makar to make it 2-0.
With the score at 2-0, Espanyol continued to dominate, although from an isolated attack, the home side managed to pull one back (2-1).
Far from getting nervous, Los Pericos read the situation well, calming their nerves when necessary and competing for every ball.
In the final minute, while the team defended the crosses in search of an equaliser, the decisive goal arrived. In a final counter-attack, Víctor Mullerat sealed the victory by making it 1-3.
