Roger Hinojo renewed through to 2030

The academy product will continue to be registered with RCD Espanyol B

Roger Hinojo will remain at RCD Espanyol through to 2030, following an agreement reached between the club and the player.

The young Catalan defender will continue to be part of the first-team dynamic, although he will retaining his registration with the reserve team.

The Sallent native showed clear progress last season, enjoying minutes with the reserve team and also making his first team debut on Matchday 26 against Villarreal.

Trained at the La21 academy, Hinojo is an example of the club’s firm commitment to formative football and has shown clear potential. At just 20 years old, this summer in preseason he performed to a high level, drawing much praise.
