RCDE Campus in Saguenay a success
The club show the La21 methodology in Canada
RCD Espanyol continue to expand their international presence, and successfully held the first edition of the official RCDE Campus in Saguenay (Quebec, Canada) this year.
During the second week of July, a total of 110 young Canadian players participated in training sessions attended by two RCD Espanyol coaches, who had been flown in from Barcelona and shared their knowledge and training methodology.
The campus was a sporting and organisational success, offering participants an immersive experience to discover what training and workloads are like at a top-level club. The young players were able to learn firsthand about the training methods used by La21, RCD Espanyol's academy, based on values such as effort, commitment, teamwork, and a passion for football.
One of the campus's major attractions is that one of the participating players will be selected to travel to Barcelona and train at the Ciudad Deportiva Dani Jarque facilities, as part of the Barcelona Experience program -an initiative that strengthens the bond between the club and international talent.
RCD Espanyol have a firm commitment to bringing the club's brand and methodology to new territories.
