RCD Espanyol sign Andoni Gorosabel on loan

The right-back joins from Athletic Club, with an option to buy

RCD Espanyol de Barcelona and Athletic Club have reached an agreement on the loan signing of Andoni Gorosabel, through to the end of the season. The deal includes an option to buy.

Gorosabel is a defender with extensive experience at the highest level of Spanish football. To date, he has made more than 246 official appearances with Real Sociedad, Deportivo Alavés and Athletic Club. He won the 2020 Copa del Rey with Real Sociedad.

After successfully completing his medical examination at the Clínica Corachan, Gorosabel signed his contract and will begin training with the team from Wednesday.
