Espanyol B secured a valuable victory in the B team derby against Barça Atlètic, winning 1-0 in an intense, hard-fought, and highly competitive match. Los Pericos dominated the game and created the clearest chances, imposing their will until they were rewarded with a goal.

From the outset, Raúl Jardiel's side displayed character, controlling the tempo and interpreting the flow of the game. Despite the inherent parity of the derby, the more dangerous attacks came from Espanyol, using width down the flanks and a high press that constantly unsettled the Barça Atlètic defence.

The winning goal came in the second half, scored by the captain, Ferran Gómez. He finished off a well-worked team move to put RCD Espanyol ahead.
