RCD Espanyol B draw 0-0 with Poblense

RCD Espanyol B hosted Poblense, who had led the league for many weeks but now sit in second place, in their latest league game, and were held to a 0-0 draw.

In the first half, Espanyol created the better chances and deserved more than the goalless scoreline at halftime. Ferran Gómez and Rufo both had opportunities, but the home goalkeeper thwarted Gómez's shot, while Rufo's effort went just over the bar.

The second half followed a similar routine. Espanyol dominated possession and Thymos Caroutas had the clearest chance.

The visitors defended resolutely and were pinned back in their own half. Although they tried to threaten with long balls in the final minutes, they did so without seriously threatening Llorenç's goal.

The match served as the debut for Denis Cruz with Espanyol B, having featured the previous day for the Juvenil A side.
