RCD Academy and school directors meet for training
The club kick off the season for the affiliated entities with an annual gathering
At the start of each season, the directors and members of the different national schools and international academies that RCD Espanyol run around the world meet to undertake training and share experiences with staff from the club. In 2023/24, the sessions took place at the Stage Front Stadium and at the Ciutat Esportiva Dani Jarque.
Attendees were able to meet Luis García, the club's first team coach, Dolors Ribalta, director of women's football, and Antoni Alegre, assistant director of RCD Espanyol.
These days together serve to kick off a new season at all the academies and schools. A total of 21 people participated in this year's edition, some of them via video conference. The club, a pioneer in Europe in exporting their successful methodology and brand throughout the world, now have 12 academies and 7 schools spread around the globe.
