Bryan Zaragoza: "I'm here to have a great year"
The new loanee talks about his arrival at RCD Espanyol
New RCD Espanyol player Bryan Zaragoza talked to Espanyol Media upon his arrival in Barcelona, where he signed for the club on loan for the 2026/27 season.
He acknowledged that the negotiations for the deal were lengthy, remarking that it had been “a long road.”
"I'm satisfied and delighted with the opportunity Espanyol have given to join the club. It’s been a long wait, and I’ve made a big effort to come here, which is where I wanted to be,” said the attacker, who joins on loan from FC Bayern Munich.
“I’m here to have a great year. I’m motivated, eager, and all I want is to enjoy myself again and play my best football. The way I play is based on enjoying myself, with the 'street football' style I’ve always had," he explained.
"My new teammates have given me a warm welcome. This is a humble and hardworking group, with a fantastic set of players.”
“I understand that the fans are demanding because this is a great club. I don’t feel any pressure; I think I can bring them a lot of joy," he concluded.
