The team are held to a stalemate against Alcoyano

Espanyol B earned a point away at Alcoyano in a very solid performance, drawing 1-1.

Jardiel's men visited El Callao, a legendary stadium, and both teams came out eager to put on a show. After five minutes the home side took the lead with a goal from Iniesta.

Espanyol reacted well and equalised in the 12th minute, thanks to a cross from Almansa that Lluc Castell headed into the back of the net.

With the score at 1-1, Alcoyano looked dangerous on the counter-attack, while Espanyol looked to build attacks through intricate passing and created danger from corners.

In the second half, Alcoyano had clear chances to take the lead, but RCD Espanyol B goalkeeper Llorenç Serred made some crucial saves. 

The score remained unchanged throughout the second half, and the points were shared.
