Zabaleta recalls time at RCD Espanyol
A new episode of ‘Quan la pilota calla’ is released
Pablo Zabaleta is the subject of the second episode of the podcast “Quan la pilota calla” (When the Ball Falls Silent), reviewing his playing career, his retirement during the COVID-19 pandemic, his work as a commentator for television networks in England and the United States, and his years at Espanyol.
“I spent comparatively little time here at Espanyol, but there were some unique moments -the kind that stay with you for life,” he explains.
“I am incredibly grateful to this club for everything I experienced as a player,” says the man who arrived from Argentina at the age of 20 and quickly won a place in Pericos’ hearts thanks to his dedication, commitment, and dedication.
Zabaleta always had the conviction that, when his career was over, Barcelona would once again become his home and the place where his children would grow up.
This new episode of ‘Quan la pilota calla’ will first be available on Espanyol Media's OTT platform after registration, and 24 hours later, on all official RCD Espanyol platforms (YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts).
