RCD Espanyol present the new home kit, inspired by an unforgettable era for the club
RCD Espanyol can officially reveal the team's new home kit for the 2025/26 season, with a very special shirt that pays tribute to one of the most iconic and beloved strips, worn between 1984 and 1992.
Inspired by an unforgettable era in the club's history, the shirt evokes memories of great sporting achievements, such as the historic third place finish in the 1986/87 LaLiga season, and the unforgettable run to the UEFA Cup final in the 1987/88 campaign. It was a vibrant decade that influenced an entire generation of Espanyol fans and left an indelible mark on the club's identity.
The new design, developed in collaboration technical sponsor Kelme, revives the essence of 1980s style with a modern and elegant approach, connecting the past and the present. The shirt has sleeves with the brand's signature 'claws' design, an elegant collar, and the classic blue and white center stripe typical of Espanyol.
