Support for Gran Recapte d'Aliments food drive
The club participate in the charity initiative
El RCD Espanyol de Barcelona’s social commitment continues with their latest participation in the Gran Recapte d'Aliments, a food drive to be held on November 7-8th. This initiative, promoted by the Banc dels Aliments Food Bank, is one of the biggest charity campaigns in the country and aims to help families most in need.
This year, the club are launching the RCD Espanyol Solidarity Supermarket, an online donation scheme where all members, season ticket holders, and fans can make their donations in a fast, secure, and supportive manner. Through this page, club members can directly collaborate with the Banc dels Aliments by making a symbolic purchase of basic foodstuffs such as oil, milk, rice, and legumes.
Furthermore, RCD Espanyol encourage the RCD Espanyol family to participate as volunteers during the Gran Recapte, helping with the physical collection of food at the various designated locations.
