Sport and inclusion at the 125th anniversary

As part of the 125th anniversary celebrations, a friendly match took place today that brought together the passion for sport and the commitment to inclusion. Thanks to the collaboration between RCD Espanyol and ONCE, the RCDE Special team faced Barcelona F.S., a team in the B2-B3 visual category from ONCE Catalunya, in a match aimed at raising awareness of adapted sports and encouraging participation for everyone. The final score was 4 to 7 in favour of RCD Espanyol.

This initiative was created to highlight the value of sport for people with diverse abilities, while also promoting core values such as solidarity, camaraderie, and equality. Beyond competition and fun, this match is yet another demonstration of the club’s commitment to a more inclusive, accessible, and open sporting practice.
