Remembering Dani Jarque at the RCDE Stadium

The annual tribute takes place on August 8th

August 8th marks 17 years since the passing of Dani Jarque. His legacy remains very much alive among all the Pericos who, year after year, show our affection and appreciation for our eternal captain.

As is tradition, Gate 21 at the RCDE Stadium will be open from 11am to 2pm, allowing all fans to pay tribute to him at one of the club's most iconic locations.

This year, the day holds special significance thanks to a collaboration between the Museo de Cera de Barcelona and the RCD Espanyol de Barcelona Foundation. After months of joint effort, a waxwork figure of Dani Jarque has been created; it will be unveiled for the first time at the RCDE Stadium this Saturday. Starting in October, the piece will become a permanent part of the prestigious Barcelona museum's collection.

The Memorial Area will also be open on August 8th from 10am to 3pm.
