Record uptake for Release Your Seat

1,919 season ticket holders loan their seats to other Pericos on Matchday 1

RCD Espanyol fans once again demonstrated their commitment to the club and to creating a great atmosphere at the RCDE Stadium this past weekend, for the first match of the season. Season ticket holders who were unable to attend the match against Levante UD used the Release Your Seat initiative to free up a record 1,919 seats, allowing other Pericos to attend and cheer on the team from the stands.

Of the released seats, 1,425 were subsequently sold, representing nearly 75% of the total -also the best result achieved to date for this service.

This figure far surpasses last season's record. In the 2025/26 season, the match with the most seats released was against Real Madrid, with 1,236. The highest number of released seats sold was for the match against Athletic Club, with 781.

These figures reflect the importance of a service that optimises attendance at the RCDE Stadium and allows more Espanyol fans to attend matches -especially on days with high ticket demand.
