RCD Espanyol to meet Middlesbrough FC
The two teams will play a preseason friendly in August
RCD Espanyol de Barcelona have scheduled a second friendly on English soil for this summer, with an encounter against Middlesbrough FC, the Championship side that fought for promotion to the Premier League last season.
The game will be played on August 1st at 3pm BST, at the Riverside Stadium, and will be the second preseason friendly for Manolo González' men.
This friendly will allow RCD Espanyol to continue accumulating match fitness in their preseason preparations, before the official start to the new season.
