RCD Espanyol represented at Festa de l’Esport Català

The club celebrate the latest sporting successes in Catalonia

RCD Espanyol de Barcelona were represented at the 29th edition of the Festa de l’Esport Català (Catalan Sports Festival), held on Monday, January 26th, at the CaixaForum auditorium. The gala brought together leading figures from the region's sporting entities.

There on behalf of the club were Rafa Marañón, RCD Espanyol board member, and Xavi Andreu, Director of Institutional Relations, who joined the organisers and showed support for this now well-established event in Catalonia's sporting calendar.

Organised by the Department of Sports of the Generalitat of Catalonia (local government), the Unió de Federacions Esportives de Catalunya (UFEC), and the newspaper SPORT, the gala recognised the most outstanding athletes, teams, and professionals of the present season, with Iris Tió and Kilian Jornet as the stars of the evening.

RCD Espanyol's presence at this event reinforces a commitment to Catalan sport, its values, and the recognition of the talent and effort of its protagonists.
