RCD Espanyol present on Catalan National Day
The club participate in events for the September 11th 'Diada'
In a September 11th tradition, RCD Espanyol participated in the traditional floral offering to the Rafael de Casanova monument this Thursday, on the occasion of Catalonia's National Day. The club once again paid tribute to the region, culture and traditions of their home area.
The club's delegation was led by CEO Mao Ye and Board Member Rafa Marañón, accompanied by Joan Capdevila, Head of Institutional Sports Relations; the patrons of the Fundación Josep Lluís Masriera and Marta Rodríguez; and club ambassadors Dolors Ribalta and Toni Blanch.
Also participating were players from the various teams: Ángel Fortuño and Rubén Sánchez from the men's first team; Alejandro Barbany from the men's academy; Aina Duran and Júlia Guerra from the women's first team; and Renata Cavilli from the women's academy. Also present were members of the Special team: Borja Cabezas and Víctor Fernández.
The representation was completed by Gerard Bofill, Head of Methodology and Coordination for Grassroots Football; Xavi Andreu, Director of Communications and Public Relations; Alberto Ariza, Social Director; and representatives from the FCPE, including Ton Roig, Sílvia Rodríguez de la Gándara, and Juan M. Acosta.
