RCD Espanyol presents our new visual identity -a graphic and creative evolution inspired by the essence of the club and everything that has defined its character for over 125 years
Built on authenticity, heritage, and a unique perspective of Barcelona, this new identity seeks to visually convey the character of RCD Espanyol: a club faithful to its roots, proud of its heritage, and authentic in its understanding of football and life.
One of the central elements of this new stage is the creation of a unique typeface, developed from two essential cornerstones for the club: Barcelona and its history.
Inspired by graphic references linked to Catalan Modernism and visual elements deeply connected to the city, the new visual identity is a contemporary expression of the Espanyol spirit.
Beyond aesthetics, this evolution seeks to reinforce a recognisable, coherent identity aligned with what the club represent both on and off the pitch.
The launch is accompanied by an audiovisual piece that explores the relationship between the club, its history, and the city through images, cultural references, and visual elements that have inspired this new graphic expression.
Because some identities aren't invented.
They simply evolve -while remaining true to what they are.
