RCD Espanyol launch Sant Jordi campaign
"Treu pit, Perico" combines the tradition of the region with the club's identity
RCD Espanyol are running a new campaign for Sant Jordi (Saint George's Day in Catalonia) with the slogan “Treu pit, Perico”. It is a project that connects culture, the city, and the club's identity through one of the most representative symbols of this celebration: A rose.
In this way, RCD Espanyol participate in one of Catalonia's most important cultural festivities, reinterpreting the rose as a symbol of our own identity. It's a way of linking tradition and feeling, connecting with the city's collective imagination.
The campaign piece was filmed at Casa Vicens, one of Antoni Gaudí's early works and one of the great icons of Barcelona's Modernisme movement. This choice reflects Barcelona's creativity, identity, and the ability to transform tradition into a contemporary expression. All of this comes in a particularly significant year, marking the commemoration of the centenary of the architect's death.
This initiative accompanies the launch of a limited-edition Sant Jordi third kit, in which the rose is integrated into the chest of the shirt as an expression of pride and belonging.
With “Treu pit, Perico”, RCD Espanyol transform a shared tradition into a unique expression of our identity.
Some symbols aren't just given as gifts.
They're worn and experienced.
This Sant Jordi, Espanyol wears it on our chest.
