RCD Espanyol attend tribute to Josep Barcons

RCD Espanyol de Barcelona were represented at the tribute to Josep Barcons, a key figure in the history of CF Damm and their President from 1969 to 2011 -a position he later retained as Honorary President-, held this Monday, January 26th, 

The event was attended by Mao Ye, CEO of RCD Espanyol, and Joan Capdevila, Head of Sporting Institutional Relations at the Club, who joined CF Damm in this heartfelt recognition of a person essential to the growth, identity, and essence of the entity.

Josep Barcons has been a decisive figure in both sporting and youth development. His love and devotion to CF Damm, along with an admirable career spanning almost five decades as President, transformed them into a model youth development club, admired throughout Spain.

RCD Espanyol wanted to join in this tribute and highlight a figure who leaves as his legacy a club model based on training, education and values.
