RCD Espanyol and Athletic Club join forces for International Childhood Cancer Day
Several actions will take place around the LaLiga game
This Sunday, the RCDE Stadium will show solidarity with International Childhood Cancer Day. RCD Espanyol and Athletic Club will join forces to raise awareness of this fight and show their support for children who suffer from this disease.
Before the start of the match, the players from both teams will take to the pitch accompanied by 22 children from the Fundación Aladina. Thanks to the collaboration of Aramark, and Ronald McDonald House, the children will wear a special commemorative shirt to raise awareness of this cause.
The captains of RCD Espanyol and Athletic Club will pose with the matchday officials with shirts bearing the message "EVERYBODY AGAINST CHILDHOOD CANCER," reinforcing the commitment of both clubs to the cause.
During halftime, an institutional photograph will be taken with the different foundations that participate in the initiative. This image will feature various key entities and personalities in the fight against childhood cancer. This act symbolises football's support for research and awareness.
