Matchday activities planned for 125th anniversary celebrations
The RCDE Stadium will be the place to be on Matchday 10
This Saturday, October 25th, for the match between RCD Espanyol and Elche CF, the RCDE Stadium will experience the celebration of the club's 125th anniversary -both inside and outside the ground.
The RCDE Fan Zone will open at 12 noon. In addition to its usual area in front of the RCDE Store, it will also occupy the Gol Prat area, and for the first time the activities will continue after the match, with music and food until 8pm.
Inside the stadium, Espanyol members and supporters will be able to actively participate in a spectacular blue and white mosaic, while a banner with the 125th anniversary logo will hang from the Tribuna Lateral. The Grada de Animació will display a commemorative tifo, accompanied by banners with special messages paying tribute to the club's history and fans.
The celebration will also feature some very emotional moments: renowned Espanyol supporter, saxophonist Pep Poblet, will perform live on the pitch, before the RCD Espanyol anthem is played in a unique and symbolic way.
