RCD Espanyol player Martin Braithwaite has been called up by the Denmark national team to play at 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Selected by national team coach Kasper Hjulmand, Braithwaite will play in his second World Cup after participating in the 2018 edition in Russia. The striker forms part of the 26-man squad, with five players still to be announced by the end of the week.
Denmark are in Group D alongside France, Australia and Tunisia. They open their group stage campaign against Tunisia on 22 November.
