Institutional visit to Diputació de Barcelona
The club's 125th anniversary celebrations continue apace
On October 28th, RCD Espanyol will celebrate the club’s 125th anniversary at the University of Barcelona's Auditorium. In recent months, various meetings have been held with leading institutions to share initiatives and activities related to this special anniversary.
The 125th anniversary institutional committee, composed of Mao Ye, Antoni Fernández Teixidó, Rafa Marañón, Tommy N'Kono, Elsa Franganillo, Sílvia Rodríguez de la Gándara, and José Luis Perelló, visited the Barcelona Diputació (Provincial Council), where they were received by president Lluïsa Moret.
The club representatives were accompanied by Director of Communications and Institutional Relations, Xavi Andreu, and the Head of the Institutional Relations and Protocol, Olga Moscatel. The RCD Espanyol Foundation's patron, Jordi Tomás, was also present at the meeting.
During the event, the Moret received the commemorative tile designed for the 125th anniversary from the committee, a symbolic reminder of a historic date. Both institutions expressed their desire to continue strengthening ties and exploring new avenues of collaboration for future projects.
