Institutional meeting at Turf Moor with the Catalan Tourist Board
Espanyol promote Catalonia's international profile through sport
RCD Espanyol de Barcelona and the Catalan Tourist Board strengthened their partnership through an institutional promotional event -held in conjunction with Wednesday's pre-season friendly against Burnley FC at Turf Moor.
The event brought together representatives of the Catalan Tourist Board, both clubs and a group of British travel agents at the stadium. As part of the programme, Espanyol presented the club's identity and its main business areas, sharing a vision for the future and exploring opportunities for collaboration.
The meeting also provided networking and hospitality opportunities while showcasing Catalonia's tourism offering. In addition, RCD Espanyol president, Alan Pace, presented a commemorative shirt to the Catalan Tourist Board.
The event builds on the partnership launched this summer between RCD Espanyol de Barcelona and the Catalan Tourist Board, with the aim of creating new promotional opportunities and positioning Catalonia on high-impact international stages through sport.
Through initiatives like this, RCD Espanyol continue to strengthen a commitment to promoting Catalonia internationally, acting as an ambassador for the region and helping to create synergies between sport, tourism and economic development on a global scale.
