Dolors Ribalta attends the event that acknowledges achievers in women's sport
RCD Espanyol attended the Dona i Esport Gala, organised by the Unió de Federacions Esportives de Catalunya (UFEC), with the presence of Dolors Ribalta, the club's Director of Women's Football.
The event, held at Juno House in Barcelona, brought together prominent figures in Catalan sport for a day dedicated to showcasing and celebrating the talent, effort, and leadership of women who contribute to the growth of sport in various fields.
The gala included a presentation by coach Núria Soler and the handing out of six awards recognising excellence in categories of sports management, business, career achievements, institutional leadership, best project, and sports communication.
RCD Espanyol demonstrated the club's backing for an initiative that promotes equal opportunities, fosters female leadership, and helps create role models for new generations in sport.
The Dona i Esport Gala is part of UFEC's commitment to promoting women's sport and has the support of the Departament d'Esports de la Generalitat de Catalunya, promoting actions that favor the visibility and recognition of women in all areas of sport.
