Annual tradition continues in 125th anniversary year
Representatives take part in two acts to recognise the club's founder
October 28th is a key date for the club, and an annual tradition was continued on the occasion of RCD Espanyol’s 125th anniversary.
A committee, led by the club's CEO, Mao Ye Wu, visited the grave of founder, Ángel Rodríguez, in the Sant Gervasi cemetery. Also present were board members Rafa Marañón and Antonio Dávila; the President of the RCD Espanyol Foundation, Antoni Fernández Teixidó; the Director of Social Relations, Alberto Ariza; the President of the FCPE, Ton Roig; and Rodríguez’ family members.
Later, representatives from the club, led by new President, Alan Pace, and consisting of Mao Ye, players Antoniu Roca and Roberto Fernández, and the Domènech sisters, the representative of Institutional Relations, Joan Capdevila, the Director of Women's Football, Dolor Ribalta, the President of the FCPE, Ton Roig, ambassadors, former players, patrons of the Foundation, and a representative of the Cornellà City Council, Enrique Vanacloy, participated in the traditional floral offering to the Fan Monument.
