“REBELS D’ARREL”: RCD Espanyol present a new expression of identity
The club begin a new chapter in our history, built on roots, authenticity, and a unique vision of football and belonging
RCD Espanyol de Barcelona present “REBELS D’ARREL,” a new expression of our identity born from the values that have always defined the club: A sense of rebellion, authenticity, commitment, and pride.
More than a slogan, “REBELS D’ARREL” represents a way of feeling, experiencing, and representing our club. It is an identity built from the roots established by our founders and nurtured by generations of Pericos who have kept alive an authentic and genuine way of understanding football and the feeling of being part of the club.
The launch is accompanied by a manifesto-style video that highlights the pride we take in following our own path, loyalty to our character, and the emotional bond that has united the club with its fans and Catalonia for more than 125 years.
RCD Espanyol de Barcelona were formed when a group of students from the University of Barcelona decided to break with the established path and forge a new one of their own.
It is a way of being rebellious through conviction. Faithful to what it represents, to its history, and to all those who give it meaning every day.
“REBELS D’ARREL” seeks to reinforce an identity consistent with what the club have always been: Authentic in our way of being, committed to our fans, and proud of our heritage.
Because some things don't change with time.
Because we are -and will always be- true to who we are.
