Pau López says that the three points will be very positive for the team
Pau López has come back to Barcelona after playing with Spanish u-21 national team. The goalkeeper has said that a victory would be positive for the team and he has added that Espanyol must offer a good impression.
“We know how this world works. If we win, I think things will calm down a bit, but we don’t have to make a drama if we lose. We know we must in and offer a good impression, but talk of meltdown or say that the problems can be finished it makes no sense, because every week you need to win. Every game has to be the most important for us and in the case of Saturday, winning will be very good for the team and the fans to get more confidence”, he said.
Regarding the slump of Malaga away from home, he said that "Cristiano had not scored and he scored five against us. The most important thing is that the team wins and gets more confidance. We know it will be difficult, but if we do things right, we can beat any opponent".
Lastly, he said that after being concentrated with the U-21 "I wanted to come back and train with my teammates to prepare Saturday's game that is the most important thing".
