The squad follows guidelines for home training during these weeks
Home confinement, which must be strictly followed, forces players to try to keep in shape during these weeks away from regular training at Dani Jarque’s training complex or RCDE Stadium. For this reason, the staff has sent the first team the work plan that they will carry out throughout this week. It is a training modality designed individually for each of the players. In total, almost two hours a day of physical activity that aims to maintain relevant aspects such as strength, endurance or flexibility at the best possible levels, without having to leave home.
From now on, and waiting to see how the situation evolves around the COVID-19, the players will follow guidelines for exercises and preventive work using weekly microcycles, similar to those commonly used during competition.
In addition to these guidelines, the blue and white squad and technical staff have also received dietary recommendations to strengthen the immune system, with a list of examples and healthy foods such as vegetables, vegetables, raw and cooked, proteins of animal origin, preferably fish such as salmon, tuna or sardines, in addition to always maintaining a good state of hydration.
Finally, the club's medical services have also repeatedly insisted on following the sanitary recommendations imposed with home confinement and maintaining high hygiene habits such as regularly washing hands with soap and water, being extremely careful with sneezing or cough and always use disposable tissues.
