Álvaro says that the team has to make a step forward and complete a good match at home
After a weekend without football, RCD Espanyol is preparing THEIR next match against Málaga (Power 8 Stadium, 20.30h). Álvaro, one of the key players in the team, said that the team wants the three points and complete a good match at home. “It will be a very demanding match, because we need to win. Our supporters want to see us winning at home and with three more points that will give us some tranquility”, he said.
“We need the three points and our aim is to get the three points and win some more confidence. There are three points but this team we need them more than on previous occasions. We have had some problems in our matches at home and we haven’t been as good as last year”.
The defender said that the team has to “take a step forward and be more regular. In San Mamés we improved our attitude, we fought and showed that we wanted to win. We have to continue on the same track and we have to play like this against Málaga”.
“We have to believe in ourselves. We have a squad to do good matches, but there are young players and a lot of new signings and the team has to assemble".
