Urko: "We have our feet on the ground"
The midfielder insists the team are refusing to get carried away
RCD Espanyol have found form in LaLiga, and earned three points against Celta Vigo last Sunday.
As the team continue to take steps forward in terms of confidence and competitiveness, they remain clear that there is still a long way to go this season -as midfielder Urko González told the media on Tuesday.
“Against a good team like Celta Vigo, the team fought hard. We were always in the game, and in the end, we took the three points home. We're very happy."
"We've started the season well, but we also have our feet on the ground and we have to take things one game at a time. We give our all in training, and that's reflected on the weekends."
With the Copa del Rey tie against Atletico Baleares on the horizon, he emphasised that "we'll go there to win. It's a competition that excites us a lot, and we'll give everything we have to advance to the next round."
Finally, when asked about the busy schedule that remains for the team before Christmas, he underlined that “we will try to get as many points as possible in the league, and continue advancing in the cup. We are in good form and want to keep it up until the end of the campaign.”
