Urko returns to RCD Espanyol on permanent deal

The midfielder signs through to June 30th, 2030

RCD Espanyol have reached an agreement for the signing of Urko González de Zárate from Real Sociedad, through to June 30th, 2030. The midfielder passed a medical this Thursday at the Clínica Creu Blanca.

Urko González de Zárate returns to RCD Espanyol just months after a successful spell on loan at the club. He joined in the 2024/25 winter transfer window and quickly became one of the most important players for the team.

He featured in 17 games -16 as a starter- and helped RCD Espanyol achieve top flight survival.
