Rubio: "There is a good dynamic"

The new signing reviews the preseason so far

Miguel Rubio was one of the first signings announced by RCD Espanyol this season, arriving after establishing himself as a regular starter at Granada. He is now taking firm steps toward doing the same at his new club, with a positive preseason.

"The team are transmitting a good feeling, gaining rhythm and assimilating the concepts to arrive at the start of the season in the best possible condition," he said on Thursday during the squad's trip to Germany.

"There is a good dynamic, and on a personal level every day there are high-quality, high-intensity training sessions. The coach has very clear ideas about the concepts he wants."

Regarding the first match in Germany, against VfL Wolfsburg, he explained that "it was a good test and the feeling is good. The coach tells us a lot that we have to get used to winning, even if it's a preseason game, as that strengthens the team."

"On a collective level, I hope it will be a good year and that the team achieve our goals as soon as possible. On a personal level, I hope that it will help me grow as a footballer."
