Romero extends loan deal at RCD Espanyol

The defender will remain at the club for a second season

RCD Espanyol and Villarreal CF have reached an agreement to extend Carlos Romero's loan for another season. The defender, who was one of coach Manolo González's most frequently used players in 2024/25, continue at the club for another season.

Romero played in 34 LALIGA matches, plus one in the Copa del Rey, scoring two goals (against Rayo Vallecano and Real Madrid). He was one of the most consistent performers last term.
