Roberto: "We're handling preseason well"
The forward speaks from the team's training camp
As the pace of training continues to increase in Navata, RCD Espanyol striker Roberto Fernández talked from the camp on Friday to explain the team's approach to work this summer.
“Preseason is quite tough, but we're handling it well as a group. We're trying to arrive at the start of the season in the best possible shape and keep the team's rhythm up,” he said.
“We're eager to play the first match of the preseason fixtures. It's going to help us to get up to speed, for the new players to adapt to the team, and for us to see our fans again.”
Roberto also expressed his fondness for the third kit for this season, unveiled in the morning.
“It's really cool, and I hope it brings us a lot of luck. I like it," he said of the strip.
