Puado undergoes successful surgery
The captain will begin his recovery shortly
RCD Espanyol's Javi Puado underwent successful surgery at the Instituto Cugat hospital on Thursday. The operation, performed by Dr. Cugat and his team, repaired the player's torn right anterior cruciate ligament.
Puado will begin the first phase of his recovery in the coming days.
Puado, who had recently returned to action in the derby against FC Barcelona, suffered the injury shortly after coming on as a substitute during last Sunday's match against Levante UD.
