Puado reaches 200 games
The striker hits his double century with RCD Espanyol
Javi Puado achieved a new milestone with RCD Espanyol in the game against Girona FC, playing his 200th official game for the club.
The La 21 product made his official debut on August 18th, 2018, under coach Rubi. His first goal came in the Copa del Rey against Cádiz in the Round of 32 on November 1st of that year, while his first LALIGA strike arrived on December 11th, 2021, with a brace against Levante UD.
Puado has played 106 matches in the Primera División, 75 in the Segunda División (including 4 playoff games last season), 16 in the Copa del Rey and 3 in the Europa League. The Barcelona-born striker has scored 53 goals for the club in this time.
He is one of the captains of the current squad and a key player in the first team under Manolo González. This season, he has already improved his best scoring record in the Primera División with 8 goals, and has become the top scorer in the history of the RCDE Stadium.
