Preseason tests to take place on Tuesday and Wednesday

The players return from their summer break

The RCD Espanyol first team squad, along with a group of players from the B team and those returning from loan spells, will begin the 2026/27 preeason this Tuesday after the summer break. Running from now until the weekend of August 15-16th, the team will have 39 days of preparation before returning to official competition.

Kicking things off, this Tuesday and Wednesday the players will be divided into two groups, as has been the custom for several seasons: the first group will go to the Clinica Corachan facility for various medical tests, while the second group will undergo fitness assessments at the training ground. On Wednesday, the order will be reversed.

The first training session is scheduled to take place at the Ciudad Deportiva Dani Jarque this Thursday, starting at 9:30am.
