Preseason begins

First medical and fitness tests

RCD Espanyol de Barcelona's first team has kicked off the 2026-2027 season with the first round of medical and fitness tests. The squad has been split into groups between Clínica Corachan and the Dani Jarque Training Ground. The same testing schedule will continue on Wednesday before the players begin work on the pitch. The first training session is scheduled for Thursday morning.
