Letter from Fran Garagaza and family
Dear Pericos,
My family and I have been overwhelmed by the countless messages of affection and concern we have received in recent days. Above all, we are grateful for your respect and appreciation for our privacy.
We want to thank you all for the support we have received from day one. Thank you to Alan Pace and the RCD Espanyol institution, the board, the coach and his staff, the players, everyone at La21 and the club's employees, and our wonderful fans. We were touched to see your banner in the stadium and the affection you have also shown to Carlos Mira, to whom we send our best wishes. We also want to thank everyone in the football community who has been in contact, from federations, leagues, clubs, directors, coaches, and players, to our friends and loved ones.
We would especially like to publicly express our gratitude to the doctors and healthcare workers.
I have been comforted by the outpouring of affection and by how you continue to unconditionally support our team. I am keeping up with RCD Espanyol's progress, and I also have confidence that my team will do a great job during my absence.
