Lebo Football joins La21’s boys’ youth development project
The Chinese organisation, which specialises in youth competitions and youth football content, will collaborate with La21’s boys’ teams
RCD Espanyol de Barcelona and Lebo Football Culture Communication Co., Ltd. have reached an agreement under which Lebo Football becomes an official sponsor of La21’s boys’ youth teams.
Lebo Football works in youth football through the organisation of youth competitions, talent identification, and the production and distribution of football content. Its projects include Chinese Football Boys, Chinese Football Girls and the 2034 Cup National Primary School Football Tournament. It also organises domestic and international youth exchange tournaments, seeking to promote youth football and support the development of young male and female players.
La21 is RCD Espanyol’s youth football project, bringing together its boys’ and girls’ teams. With a history spanning more than a century, the club’s academy develops young footballers from the earliest age groups through to the threshold of professional football. The agreement with Lebo Football focuses exclusively on its boys’ teams.
The collaboration forms part of the international development of La21, RCD Espanyol’s academy, and may help raise the project’s profile among Chinese audiences and introduce the club’s blue-and-white identity to new fans.
RCD Espanyol hopes this collaboration will help share its youth development philosophy and contribute to the progress of youth football in China.
