Koleosho: "I hope this year can be very special"
The returning loan signing talks upon arrival
For Luca Koleosho, things have come full circle in the space of just two years. Whilst he moved from RCD Espanyol to Burnley FC two seasons ago, he has now returned on loan from the English side.
Speaking on Thursday, he said that he “hopes this year can be very special.”
“Despite still being young, I think I'm more mature as a player now. I've seen the evolution of the team. This is the club I joined when I was very young, at youth level, and I'm going to continue to follow this club through to the end of my playing career," he continued.
He also stated that "In terms of fitness, I'm fine. I did preseason with Burnley. I was at the European Championship with the Italy U-21 team and then started training with Burnley. I feel very good physically and I'm ready to get started with this group here."
“My intention is to help the team and contribute with my one-on-ones, speed, and skill.”
Koleosho concluded by saying that "this is a new experience to show what we can do and achieve this year. I'm very happy to be back."
