Jofre Carreras honoured for 100 appearances
The player's century of games for RCD Espanyol is celebrated
September 27th, 2020, was a milestone day in Jofre Carreras' professional career. The RCD Espanyol winger made his debut for the first team away against Real Oviedo, in a match that ended in a 0-2 victory.
His debut in the top flight came a few months later against Valencia CF, on December 31st, 2021. In his limited time on the pitch, he was decisive, winning a penalty that Raúl De Tomás converted and setting up Javi Puado for the second goal.
After a successful loan spell at Mirandés, Carreras returned to RCD Espanyol to become a key player during the 2023/24 and 2024/25 seasons. This term, in which he has alternated between starting roles and substitute appearances, he celebrated his 100th game for the club against Athletic Club.
In these 100 matches, he has scored six goals.
In the lead-up to the derby against FC Barcelona, he received a commemorative shirt from RCD Espanyol director, Rafa Marañón.
