González: "We need to find a winning streak"
The coach's press conference before the game against Real Oviedo
Manolo González is wary of the threat of Oviedo, RCD Espanyol’s Monday night opponents, aeam he respects and "a side that attack and are dangerous."
He points out that his players are arriving "with a good feeling, eager for the game and keen to get the three points. We haven't played well recently, but we played very well before. It's difficult for any team to win games, because it's a very tight division. We have to get back to winning ways, and I hope we can finish the season strong because we deserve it."
The coach added that "we can't be complacent. We have to do things right and find our own rhythm to win, because this is still difficult for everyone. We have to win tomorrow, and in Mallorca, and against Getafe. In other words, we need to find a winning streak, to be competitive again. Tomorrow is the first match for that, whether it's against Oviedo, Mallorca, or Real Madrid. We have to win, albeit knowing it will be tough."
